The Kia Seltos will be undergoing a heavy refresh soon in order to be more competitive and more attractive for the 2024 model year. Here are most of the changes that will differentiate it from the current model.
The interior
The most important change to the next Kia Seltos will be found inside. Indeed, the new instrument panel and center console will not only be aesthetic changes, but they will also be functional. Indeed, the two large 10,25-inch screens that will replace the current instrument cluster and infotainment touch screen will help the Seltos look more modern, but they will also give more information to the driver and allow for a higher level of customization. The new position of the touchscreen will also help shorter drivers reach all of the controls.
The rest of the interior of the new Kia Seltos will also receive some changes, such as the new controls for the ventilation system and the audio system that will be located lower on the instrument panel, under the new infotainment screen. Another functional change will be the new rotary gear selector, which controls the transmission while taking much less space than a traditional lever as in the current model.
The exterior
Outside, the changes to the Kia Seltos will be evident due to the restyling of the front and rear ends that will be modified to create a more refined yet adventurous look. The front and rear bumpers will be equipped with a silver-painted skid plate that makes the new Seltos look more capable than the current model.
In order to make the new model easily identifiable as a Kia Seltos, the designers kept the LED daytime running light strip that extends towards the middle of the vehicle. Despite now being in the middle of the grille rather than at the top, this lighting element will continue to help the Seltos stand out, particularly at night, when most other vehicles become difficult to tell apart.
