Kia Canada has revealed the pricing structure for its highly anticipated 2025 K4 compact sedan, set to arrive at dealerships across the country this October. The new K4 offers a compelling mix of technology, performance, and value in the competitive compact segment.
Starting at $23,995 MSRP for the base LX IVT model, the K4 lineup includes five trim levels to suit various customer preferences and budgets. The EX IVT is priced at $26,495, while the EX+ IVT comes in at $27,995. For those seeking more power, the GT-Line Turbo starts at $31,495, with the range-topping GT-Line Turbo Limited available for $34,495.
The K4 comes standard with a 2.0-litre engine producing 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with an intelligently variable transmission (IVT). This powertrain delivers impressive fuel economy, achieving 7.9/5.8/7.0 litres/100km for city/highway/combined driving.
Performance enthusiasts will appreciate the GT-Line Turbo's 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, generating 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. This more potent option is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for a sportier driving experience.
David Sherrard, Director of Strategic Planning at Kia Canada, emphasized the K4's position in the market, stating, "The K4 sets a new benchmark in the compact car segment with inspiring design, meaningful standard features, as well as plenty of technology to meet the needs of many."
All K4 models come equipped with an array of advanced features, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and a 12.3-inch multi-display. The vehicle also boasts LED headlamps, smart key with push-button start, and Kia Connect with over-the-air update capabilities.
Tech-savvy buyers will appreciate the standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility across all trim levels. Higher trims offer additional luxuries such as a wide sunroof, Harman Kardon premium audio system, and advanced driver assistance features like Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.
The K4's design incorporates Kia's "Opposites United" design language, featuring bold proportions and unique elements like rear door handles integrated into the C-pillar. With an overall length of 4,709mm and width of 1,849mm, the K4 boasts the largest footprint in its class, translating to generous interior space, especially for rear passengers.
Safety is a priority in the K4, with a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) standard across the range. The GT-Line Turbo Tech trim elevates safety further with features like Forward Collision Avoidance 2 (FCA-2) and Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA-2).
