The Kia Seltos received a refresh for the 2024 model year that will arrive on the market this spring. Here are a few ways in which it stands out in the competitive compact SUV segment.

 A new dashboard

The 2024 Kia Seltos benefits from an entirely new dashboard that makes the interior look and feel much more modern than before. Inspired by the EV6, this new cabin layout features an elevated curved panel on top of the dashboard that contains the instrument cluster and the infotainment touchscreen. In EX Premium models and up, both the instrument panel and the infotainment screens are 10.25-inch digital displays that sit side by side and give the new Seltos a more modern appearance than most of its competitors. This new interior also contains a number of new technologies that have not been seen in the Seltos before, such as the Digital Key system, and the capability to receive over-the-air updates to the infotainment and navigation systems.

A distinctive appearance

The exterior changes made to the 2024 Kia Seltos are not as drastic as those that have taken place inside, but this doesn’t mean everything is still the same as before. Indeed, the new Seltos refines and modernizes the already distinctive design of the previous model. This can be seen up front, where the headlamps still extend toward the middle as they did before, but this detail has now been highlighted by making the light travel within the black grille. At the rear, the taillamps merge together to form a lightbar that runs the whole width of the vehicle and the bumper gains a more distinctive appearance.

Still a great value

Kia has long been known to offer a great value in all of its vehicles, and the 2024 Seltos doesn’t make an exception. Indeed, this small SUV can be equipped with a number of features that are normally only seen in vehicles much larger and more expensive, such as ventilated front seats, a power liftgate, Safe Exit Warning, and even Highway Driving Assist, a semi-autonomous driver assistance technology that controls the speed and steering of the vehicle in certain circumstances.
