Does the 2023 Kia Niro offer more range?

The 2023 Kia Niro will indeed offer more range in its PHEV and fully electric versions. The PHEV model gets a new 11.1 kWh battery which increases range from 42 km to 53 kilometres. The fully electric model gets a larger 64.8 kWh battery which improves range to 407 km up from 385 in the current model.

Will the Kia Niro still offer three engine options?

Yes, the 2023 Kia Niro will continue to be offered as a plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and fully electric model. It is the only small SUV available on the market to have 3 engine options, all of which are electrified.

Is the 2023 Kia Niro more or less spacious than the previous model?

The 2023 Kia Niro is indeed more spacious. It has grown in dimensions, and it is now longer and taller. It is therefore more spacious in the cargo area than the outgoing model and it features 646 total litres in the back.

Does interior space improve?

The larger footprint of the 2023 Kia Niro does indeed improve interior space as well. You can expect more leg room and more headroom both in front and in the back.
